Right click with your mouse on the page itself Select Properties Check the Protocol is Hyper Text Transfer Protocol with Privacy Check the Connection is defined as SSL Check the Address Shows a secure server (https://) Click on Certificates and check the Certificate for issuer and validity

Netscape Users

Right click with your mouse on the page itself Select View Frame Info You can check the location (the address will show a secure server https://) and also view the Security information.

Other Browsers

Please check the specific browser's Help files (NB secure pages can appear within a frameset where the parent frame itself is not secure).
